Zac & Emma's Double 40ft

Two forty-foot buildings joined into one home, with the bathroom in the centre and a bedroom at each end. It was drawn for Zac and Emma, and it is on this list because it can be built again.

We name a build after the people it was drawn for. That is not a marketing device — it is how the job is referred to internally from the day the drawings are done, and putting the same name on the page means you are looking at a real building somebody lives in rather than a configuration we assembled for a catalogue.

Two buildings means two crane lifts and a joining detail, so access matters more here than for a single forty-footer. Worth raising early if your block is tight.
